Repository Policy

The Asian Bulletin of Green Management and Circular Economy (ABGMCE) supports open access, research dissemination and long-term accessibility. Authors retain copyright and may deposit their manuscripts in suitable repositories without requesting prior permission from the journal.

Permitted Versions

Authors may archive the following versions:

  • Submitted version: The manuscript originally submitted before peer review.
  • Accepted version: The final author manuscript accepted after peer review but before journal formatting.
  • Published version: The final Version of Record published by ABGMCE, including the journal’s formatting, DOI, pagination and citation details.

Permitted Repositories

Authors may deposit permitted manuscript versions in:

  • Institutional repositories
  • Subject or disciplinary repositories
  • Funder-designated repositories
  • Government or national repositories
  • Non-commercial academic repositories
  • Personal or institutional websites
  • Theses and dissertation repositories
  • Preprint servers

Embargo Period

ABGMCE applies no embargo period. Authors may deposit any permitted version immediately after submission, acceptance or publication, as applicable.

Deposit Conditions

When depositing the accepted or published version, authors should:

  • Provide the complete bibliographic citation.
  • Identify ABGMCE as the original place of publication.
  • Include the article’s DOI and a link to its journal landing page.
  • State the deposited manuscript version.
  • Display the applicable Creative Commons licence.
  • Indicate whether any changes were made to the published version.

Published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0).

This licence permits sharing, redistribution, adaptation and lawful commercial or non-commercial reuse, provided that appropriate credit is given to the authors and original publication.

Preprints

Posting a manuscript on a recognised preprint server before submission does not constitute prior publication and does not prevent consideration by ABGMCE. Authors must disclose the existence and location of a preprint during submission.

Following publication, authors should update the preprint record with the final article citation and DOI. Authors should not present a preprint as the final peer-reviewed Version of Record.

Author Rights

Authors are not required to transfer copyright to ABGMCE. Repository deposit does not require payment of any additional fee and is unaffected by an APC waiver or payment decision.
