Conflict of interest policy

The Asian Bulletin of Green Management and Circular Economy (ABGMCE) requires authors, reviewers, and editors to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may influence the research process, peer review, editorial decisions, or publication outcomes.

A conflict of interest exists when personal, financial, professional, institutional, or other relationships could influence the objectivity and integrity of the research or publication process.

Authors’ Responsibilities:
Authors must disclose all relevant financial and non-financial conflicts of interest at the time of manuscript submission. Authors should provide information about funding sources, affiliations, employment relationships, consultancy activities, or any personal relationships that may affect the research.

Reviewers’ Responsibilities:
Reviewers must declare any potential conflicts of interest before accepting a manuscript review assignment. Reviewers should decline the review if they have personal, professional, or academic relationships with the authors or institutions that could affect their impartial judgment.

Editors’ Responsibilities:
Editors must ensure that editorial decisions are based solely on academic merit, originality, quality, and relevance. Editors should not handle manuscripts where they have conflicts of interest with authors, institutions, or funding organizations.

Management of Conflicts:
All disclosed conflicts of interest will be evaluated by the editorial team. Appropriate actions will be taken to ensure transparency, fairness, and integrity throughout the publication process.
